Field signs. The bottom of body is white or with the predominance of white color. Back from the inter-blade region to [nadkhvostya] is dark-brown. Head is white or is greyish. Before the eye dark spot. Wings and the apex of tail dark-brown. Wing 474-500 mm (Ivanov, [Shtegman], 1978). Propagation. It nests only on the Hawaiian islands. With the migrations it was recorded on Kamchatka coasts, also, along the entire Kurile bank ([Stepanyan], 1990; 2003). |
