Belous Warbler

Sylvia mystacea Menetries, 1832

Field signs. Boka head, forehead and crown black and gray, gray back, the dark side of the head separated from blushed throat clear white stripe. A female dorsal side burovato-gray, with dark "cap", ventral side whitish. Young birds resemble the females. Wing 55-62 mm (Ivanov, Shtegman, 1978).

Distribution. Slot in the steppes of the Caspian (Böhme et al, 1998).
