Field signs. Hook-nosed [turpan] differs from usual in terms of strongly developed growth by the beak ([Syroechkovskiy], [Rogacheva], 1980).
The Western border of area passes after the Yenisey, approximately from [Khatangi] to Krasnoyarsk. South of Krasnoyarsk it is encountered in the Minusinsk and the southern part Of the [achinskogo] of districts ([Tugarinov], [Buturlin], 1911). In sequence To [sushkinu] (1914), hook-nosed [turpan] nested in [Khakasii], southern part Of the [achinskoy] wooded plain (God lake), also, in The [mozharskie] lakes among the taiga, where it was sufficiently usual. It is usual on the nesting place on the lakes in the upper reaches of polygon and Kahn (Yudin, 1952). North noted in the pond of underground Tungus, the upper flow of lower Tungus and the upper reaches Of [khatangi]. Separate encounters are registered in the lower reaches of the river of the Yenisey (to Dudinka), but its nesting is there doubtful ([Isakov], 1952). In [Evenkii] in the upper reaches Of [vilyuya] hook-nosed [turpan] - usual trade duck (Andreev, 1974). It nests in the high mountain regions Of [sayan] ([Zabelin], 1976), and frequent encounters in the Minusinsk basin relate in essence to the nonbreeding birds. It is possible that in the edge is a gap of the area of form in the limits of southern [Priangarya]. Number. The greatest density of the population of this form is characteristic for the eastern part of the pond r. Of [kotuy], where are concentrated about 90% of boundary resources of form ([Martynov], 1983). According to the observations in central Yakutiya, where is located the optimum of the condition for existences of hook-nosed [turpana], the number of form in the recent decades strongly was reduced. Within the limits of its Krasnoyarskiy Kray approximately it is possible to estimate only by ten thousand birds ([Rogacheva], 1988). |
