Field signs. Spina pale, sizovato-gray, white belly and tail; third priority pen-feather black with a white ground. Do birds in the winter operenii white head with brown spots. Young birds dorsal side burovato-ohristaya with ohristymi kaemkami feathers, white ventral side with ohristym bloom at zobu and sides. Wing 309-363 mm (Ivanov, Shtegman, 1978). Distribution. Tibet to the east to the lake. Kukunor, north to Kunlunya and Nanshanya, south to the Himalayas and southern Gansu, Ladak, East Pamir (Stepanyan, 1990, 2003). Fall in the lake.
