Japanese Reed Warbler

Megalurus pryeri Seebohm, 1884

Field signs. The bird is less than the sparrow, from top to brown with dark longitudinal stripes and a white eyebrow, bottom Beige. The tail is rounded. Poet, taking off a steep arc. Song - treskuchie trills, Creek - a sharp "Chuck" (Böhme et al, 1998).

Distribution. Registered in the lake basin. Hanka and Toreyskih lakes in the south-eastern Trans-Baikal (Stepanyan, 1990, 2003).
