Tibetan snowcock

Tetraogallus tibetanus Gould, 1854

Field signs. The head, neck and zasheek dark gray with ohristym intact. The back seems blackish due to the very thick black krapa. At the breast burovato-gray with dark lateral stripe krapom. The female fox is intact and dark specks on the head and neck. The length of the wing 258-271 mm (Ivanov, Shtegman, 1978).

Distribution. Tibet to the west to East Pamirs, to the east before the Sino-Tibetan mountains, north to Nanshanya, south to the Himalayas (Stepanyan, 1990, 2003).
