Field signs. On top dark-brown with the more lucid mind and the neck. The covering feathers of tail are white. Young birds are brown, with the whitish throat. Wing 485-533 mm (Ivanov, [Shtegman], 1978). Propagation. It nests on the Hawaiian islands and on the island of tory. On the migrations there is on Kamchatka coasts, also, along the entire Kurile bank ([Stepanyan], 1990; 2003). |
