Calidris bairdii (Coues, 1861)

Field signs. Feathers back in black and brown with ohristymi kaemkami; chest and goiter pale ohristye with barely noticeable dark pestrinkami, throat and abdomen white. Young birds kaemki whitish feathers back. Wing 119-126 mm (Ivanov, Shtegman, 1978).

Distribution. Arctic coast of North America from northern Alaska east to the p-ova Melvill.Chukotka, islands: Kolyuchin, Big Diomid, Wrangel (Stepanyan, 1990, 2003).
