Japanese skylark

Alauda japonica Temminck et Schlegel, 1848

Field signs. It is very similar to the Field Early Riser, but painted darker, especially the head and back, eyebrow dark gray (Böhme et al, 1998).

Distribution. Gnezditsya on raw meadows and fields of southern Sakhalin and the Kuril (Böhme et al, 1998).
