Japanese shrike

Field signs. Forehead, crown and upper back sand-red, red neck, lower back and nadhvoste sand-gray; eye on the White «eyebrow», chest, sides and belly fox; on the sides black head band. The female ventral side with numerous dark skobochkami. Young birds as the dorsal or bryuschnaya ispeschreny the party dark side stripes. Wing 78-88 mm (Ivanov, Shtegman, 1978).

Distribution. Gnezditsya in southern Primorye, Sakhalin and the Kuril (Böhme et al, 1998).
