Polar seagulls

Larus glaucoides Meyer, 1822

Field signs. Spinnaya side of a pale, grayish sizaya, the rest white plumage; primary mahovye feathers pale gray with white tops. Young birds smoky with pestrinami paramount mahovye feathers burovatye with light tops. Birds in the winter operenii are at the head pale burovatye pestriny. Wing 378-433 mm (Ivanov, Shtegman, 1978).

Distribution. Zaletnaya bird - twice was produced off the coast of Novaya Zemlya (Ivanov, Shtegman, 1978).
